Equipment Kits: A Staple of Isaac

The current pandemic has made it difficult to create studio productions in the traditional way we’re used to. Social distancing means we can’t safely fit the usual amount of people needed for a shoot into one studio, and we’re not sure when our regular production processes will be able to resume. In order to help you adjust to this change, we at Isaac have been thinking about ways your members can still create broadcast-quality videos from home.

One option is for media centers to create at-home camera kits for members. Choosing small, portable pieces of equipment and grouping those pieces together will create an easy kit for members to check-out quickly and smoothly. With the right equipment, members can make studio-quality shoots from their own homes.

Equipment Kits Paired with Isaac Software Streamlines Your Reservation Process

Because Isaac allows you to group multiple pieces of equipment under one dedicated bar code, creating and checking out a kit is an easy process. Once you’ve organized your kits, adding several pieces of equipment to a reservation is a one-click process. If you haven’t yet made a kit in Isaac, now is a great time to play around with that feature. You’ll save time in the reservation process, and you’ll be able to give producers a consistent set of equipment in one package.

We’re hoping that soon it will be safe for regular video shoots to resume, but in the meantime, your members can keep creating excellent videos at home.
